Scope and Contents Filmed during the AMNH-Woodcraft Indian Trip to the Southwest, 1927. The AMNH Woodcraft Indian trip was led by Ernest Thompson Seton, the author, and George Clyde Fisher (AMNH curator of visual instruction). The film depicts a variety of dances (the buffalo, hood, war, eagle, corn, deer and snowbird) performed by Indians of the Tesuque, Taos, Acoma and Santa Clara Pueblos. Slides of ancient ruins in Tunisia and photographs of mosaics and artifacts, including Lady of Carthage, detail of Orpheus chraming the animals, and detail of Dermech Hunt Mosaic. For the temporary exhibition Carthage: A Mosaic of Ancient Tunisia, held at the American Museum of Natural History, 1987. The exhibition was a collaboration with Bardo National Museum, Tunis, Carthage National Museum, Tunis, Archeological Museums, El Jem, Sousse, Sfax, Nabeul.

Catalina under the sea

Off the coast of California, the Catalina Islands offer excellent underwater scenes of plants and creatures. In a live underwater broadcast, the first ever produced, Charles Collingwood puts on his diving suit and dives with Ken Norris, oceanographer at Marineland in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. They discuss plants, such as a kelp forest, and much of the examination is centered on the type of underwater photographic equipment used in this unique broadcast.

Microform of 1874 holograph (1 volume, 59 pages : illustrations ; 21 cm). Catalogue of 562 objects, many from Ohio, listed and described on recto of leaves in notebook, with printed illustrations mounted on some of the facing pages. "Kenyon College commencement exercises, Wednesday, September 4th, 1833" program mounted on front pastedown.

On same reel is Davis's Catalogue of casts representing one hundred specimens of antiques found in the mounds of the West.
