Contains 56 black and white photographs by C.F. Newcombe in Victoria, B.C. Subjects include totems, emblems, whale crest, raven crest, the Alert Bay graveyard, Fort Rupert, Tenaktak House, village and river scenes as well as individuals including Bob Harris and wife, a Quasila Speaker. Many of these photographs have handwritten notes signed “CFN” on the back. There are also notes on some photos to clarify which tribes are featured (ie. “Haida or Kwakiutl”?)
