Scope and Contents

This series consists of materials related to Gaffney's research. The bulk of the series is photographic, written, and illustration documentation of specimens held in museum collections around the world. Notes related to Gaffney's work on cladistic analysis and cladograms are included in this series. Also included are records that shed light on Gaffney's research interests including reprint requests, book orders, and maps.

The series is arranged alphabetically by the site of Gaffney's research (e.g. museum or location), specimen being analyzed, or type of materials (e.g. book order or invoice).

Separated Materials

Negatives related to a subject without a corresponding folder in the series have been separated and transfered to the main archives. These include: Australian Museum; Chelydra; Euraxemys Essweini; Foxemys; Pelomedusidae; Pterygoid Muscles; Sea Turtles; and Stereogenys Cromeri.
