Scope and Contents
Sledge used in the 1926 North Pole expedition. It was carried on the “Norge” in case of forced landing. The sledge was made by Oskar Wisting, possibly between 1917 and 1925, on the “Maud,” the ship that was used for Roald Amundsen expedition through the Northeast Passage.
