Choate/A Founder of the American Museum/and a Patron of the Arts and Sciences/Painted by the Princess Lwoff-Parlaghy/and presented by her to the American Museum of Natural History/February 29, 1911. Choate was American lawyer and diplomat; founder and trustee of A.M.N.H.
