General Note
The catalog consists of two main sections, one arranged alphabetically by taxonomic name and the other by catalog number. The entries include accession numbers and field numbers, as well as data about the specimens (place and date collected, name of collector, method of capture, etc.). A third section, called the Old Locality File, consists of brief entries arranged geographically and cross-referenced to the main sections; this section was created in the early 1960s and closed in 1983.
