The journal entries are dated 26 June 1947 to 5 Sept. 1947. Some dates are erroneously typed as 1949.

General Note

Also includes two typewritten letters signed by Kepler. The undated one is an introductory letter accompanying the ms. and is addressed to Miss Bella Weitzner, associate curator of ethnology at the Museum; the other, dated 29 March 1949 and addressed to the Mordens, states among other things that Kepler is working on a paper using his Turkana material for possible publication by the Museum.
