Moon rock exhibition photographic slides, 1970.
Abstract
Slides of the moon rock sample displayed temporarily in 1970 at the American Museum of Natural History. Includes details and images of the display case. The specimen was found on the moon's Oceanus Procellarum and was held in place by stainless steel prongs and kept in a lucite-domed, pneumatically sealed container filled with nitrogen. Theodore Roosevelt Memorial, second floor.
