Scope and Contents
The majority of this series contains photographs documenting the construction and maintenance of the bird dioramas in the Sanford Hall, as well as some field photography. Originally called the Chapman Hall of North American Birds, this Hall now encompasses the former Sanford Hall of Bird Biology.
Note: One folder about the now closed Sanford Hall of Bird Biology is located in Series IX: Temporary Exhibits/Miscellaneous. In addition, the group numbers correspond to the original numbers assigned to the diorama projects by the exhibition department.
