Scope and Contents

This series consists of picture clippings, newspaper spreads, and magazine articles documenting various Earth Science information, dated between 1920 and 1940. The file folders are categorized under three headings: Geology, Meteorology, and Astronomy. The picture clippings and articles are most often glued directly upon the file folders—both front and back—with most of their original published captions intact. Many of the clippings were from the New York Times Picture Section.
