Persia (55) [Iran Iraq]

 File — Box: 1, Folder: 8
Identifier: PPC .C532

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series consists of picture clippings and photographs related to the Ethnology studies of James L. Clark. Most of these materials date between 1920 and 1940. The file folders are categorized with an original numbering system (as seen in Box 1, Folder 1) that delineates the parts of the world where Clark explored. These numbers can be used to cross-reference with other series, such as with the Expedition or Archeology series. The picture clippings and photographs are most often glued directly upon the file folders—both front and back—with some of their original published captions intact. There are also some folders that include loose clippings and other related materials.

Note: that the 8(3) and 8(5) files are missing from the collection. In addition, the words in the [brackets] indicate geographical areas found within the larger regions.
