Scope and Contents
The bulk of the correspondence is between Granger and Osborn. Includes correspondence with Hartley T. Ferrar, Alfred Lucas, and H. G. Lyons of the Geological Survey of Egypt, with William Matthew, with R. Markgraf, with banks. Also includes correspondence between Anna G. Granger (Walter Granger's wife) and Osborn.
Included is a contract with local workers hired by the expedition to do excavations. The contract is signed by two foremen and Granger and was witnessed by H.T. Ferrar. While Granger came back from Egypt in 1907, Markgraf continued sending him letters from the field until 1912.Dates
