Scope and Contents
Material is related to Gaffney's field work at Kayenta, Arizona in the 1990s. Included are copies of field labels, correspondence with Harvard University Museum of Comparative Zoology regarding fossil preparations and loans.
Also included are field photographs taken by Gaffney in 1992 as well as drafts of "Kayentachelys - preliminary description of skull" by Gaffney. Included is a permit from the Navajo Nation Minerals Department together with annotated maps. Also includes color slides of Gaffney's field work at Jordan, Montana in 1994 with Dingus and Fraley, collecting a section of K-T boundary bolide impact (Hell Creek/Tullock Formations contact) to put on display in Ornithischian Hall.Dates
