Scope and Contents

Correspondence between Colbert and Chas L. Camp of the Museum of Paleontology at Bercley. Included is an letter to the Secretary of the Interior requesting permission to excavate for fossils, combined list of needed camp equipment, Colbert's itinerary. Also included is Colbert's report on the work in the Petrified Forest National Monument Area with list of most important fossils discovered. Also included is a note from Floyd Keller of the National Park Service with a clipping from the Holbrook Tribune News talking about the expedition. There is expense account and some receipts.
