Scope and Contents

This folder contains copies of correspondence and legal agreements between Frick Corporation and the Museum dated from 1934 to 1945. I also holds original correspondence regarding the eventual integration of the Frick Laboratory into the Museum after Child Frick's death.

Contains multiple revisions and the final draft of the agreement with Henry Clay Frick completed in 1967. Included are the details of the distribution of the funds held previously by the Childs Frick Corporation.

Also present are the court documents from The Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania regarding the dissolution of Childs Frick Corporation dating to 1968.

Includes drafts of the public announcement of the merger of Frick Laboratory into the Museum drafted by Bobb Shaeffer as well as the final announcement. Also includes public announcements on construction of the Frick Building.

Correspondence regarding a memorial to Childs Frick in the Frick Building Conference Room.

Calendar of Events for September-October 1971 published by the museum describing the new Frick Building.

Correspondence regarding moving fossil collections to the new Frick Building.
