Edmond A. Mathez is a Curator at the American Museum of Natural History, Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Division of Physical Sciences and Professor, Richard Gilder Graduate School. Mathez researches petrological evolution of layered mafic intrusions, geochemistry of the volatile elements, geochemistry of the platinum group elements, mantle petrology, evolution of early Earth.
