Thomas Baillie MacDougall was a British naturalist and collector who spent four decades between 1931 and 1973 exploring Mexico. The collection documents his exploration activities and observations in Mexico, especially in the Oaxaca-Chiapas region, where he collected great quantities of animal and plant specimens, as well as some archaeological materials.
