Entomologist; he was a research associate in the Department of Entomology of the AMNH. In 1964, he donated the largest termite collection in the world to the AMNH. Brother of the artist. Osborn was A.M.N.H. President from 1908 to 1933, paleontologist, naturalist, author; growth of museum and its collections are attributed to him.
