Binoculars used by Roald Amundsen on his 1911 expedition to the South Pole. According to Mrs. It was made in Jena, Germany, by Carl Zeiss. Marie Louise Ellsworth’s they were Amundsen’s most prized possession which he gifted to Lincoln Ellsworth, possibly during the 1925 expedition to the North Pole.
