Scope and Contents

Pair of skis used by Otto Nordenskjold in the 1902-1903 Swedish expedition to Snow Hill Island and abandoned in 1903 when he quickly had to leave his hut after being rescued by an Argentine rescue crew from Paulet Island, Antarctica. Found by Lincoln Ellsworth in the 1934-1935 Antarctic expedition.
