Curran's papers consist primarily of correspondence reflecting his scientific interest in Diptera as well as other orders of insects. Correspondence refers to Curran's research, loan of specimens, publications, exchange of scientific information and related curatorial responsibilities. Colleagues with whom he corresponded include: Mont A. Crazier, 1947-1958; Charles L. Fluke, 1929-1959; Frank M. Hull, 1929-1958; Cornelius P. Philip, 1941-1958; and Frederick Snyder, 1944-1957.
