Biographical or Historical Note

Anthony Woodward worked at the American Museum of Natural History. He began in 1878 assisting with the identifing and arranging collections of fossils. In 1880 he was an Assistant in the museum's Department of Geology. From 1881 to 1902 he was a librarian in the museum, and from 1903 to 1910 he was a Curator of maps and charts
