Artist

AMNH volunteer associate in Department of Living Invertebrates 1964-1973; longtime shell collector, glass carver, scientific illustrator, and sculptor. Author of "Seashore Life Coloring Book". Co-wrote A new species of Latiaxis from the western Atlantic (Mollusca, Gastropoda), 1963, with William Emerson, from the AMNH Department of Living Invertebrates. D'Attillio donated about half of his worldwide shell collection to the AMNH. The museum has two illustrations of Ecphora and Milneedwardsi Conus and an artwork entitled "Stonehenge"
