1982 April - 1982 May 16
"Museum and the Creative Artist" was an exhibition of art inspired by the world-famous collections of the Museum and the Museum building itself. Museum features--the animal friezes flanking the Roosevelt entrance, fossils, pottery and other displays were interpreted in such diverse forms as painting, sculpture, rubbings and needlepoint. An Arthur Ross Exhibit of the Month, it was on view in the Akeley Gallery on the 2nd floor of the American Museum of Natural History from April 1982 through May 16, 1982.
