Exhibition. Opened January 5, 1950 and closed January 30, 1950. Located in the New York State Roosevelt Memorial at the American Museum of Natural History. "Native Life in Alaska" featured approximately 25 pastel paintings and sketches by two Alaskan women.

Summary

"Native Life in Alaska" featured approximately 25 pastel paintings and sketches by two Alaskan women. The Crumrines, mother and daughter, travelled all over Alaska painting native life, landscapes, aborigines and sled dogs. The exhibition was on view in the Roosevelt Memorial Hall of the American Museum of Natural History from January 5 through January 30, 1950.
