Exhibition. Opened November 18, 1949 and closed January 3, 1950. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Insect World" featured about 60 photographs of insects by Edwin Way Teale.

Summary

"Insect World" featured about 60 photographs of insects by Edwin Way Teale. Taken in Teale's backyard insect garden, each photograph caught the action of an insect in its natural setting and revealed its particular characteristics. Edwin Way Teale was President of the Brooklyn Entomological Society and a member of the Royal Photographic Society in London. "Insect World" was on view in the Corner Gallery from November 18. 1949 through January 3, 1950.
