Exhibition. Opened December 8, 1941 and closed December 9, 1941. Located in the Education Hall at the American Museum of Natural History. "Bird Fanciers Association Exhibit of Living Birds" was the 12th Annual Bird Fanciers Association Show.

Summary

"Bird Fanciers Association Exhibit of Living Birds" was the 12th Annual Bird Fanciers Association Show. One thousand birds were displayed by more than 100 bird fanciers and breeders from across the United States. Judging of birds in all breeds and classes for 160 prizes took place. Canaries as well as exotic birds from around the world were represented. Several categories of birds that were judged included the American Singers section, Borders and Norwich breeds, Colorbreds, wild birds, Yorkshires and Roller Canaries. The exhibition was on view in the Education Hall at the American Museum of Natural History December 8-9, 1945.
