Summary

"Miniature Animal Sculptures by Louis Paul Jonas" featured miniature animal sculptures by Museum taxidermist and artist Louis Paul Jonas. The collection of more than a hundred life-like miniatures represented one-third of all the mammals in the world; each was one-tenth life size and scientifically accurate in anatomical detail. The exhibition was on view in the Roosevelt Memorial Hall at the American Museum of Natural History starting December 16, 1944.
