"Bird Paintings by Major Allan Brooks" featured 30 bird paintings in oil and watercolor by Major Allan Brooks. The paintings were based on close study of ducks, geese and many other wild birds in their native habitat of field, lake stream or ocean. They were exhibited in the Whitney Memorial Gallery of Bird Art at the American Museum of Natural History from September 22 through November 30, 1941.
