Summary

"Theodore Roosevelt Park" was an exhibition coinciding with Roosevelt's 100th Birthday. The exhibition traced the slow development of the park, originally known as Manhattan Square, from empty lots and goat hills to its present-day aspect (1958). The more than 30 maps and photographs depicted the creation of The American Museum-Hayden Planetarium. The exhibit was on view on the first floor of the Roosevelt Memorial Building from October 27 through November 30, 1958.
