Vol. [8] bears stamp "From the Boas Collection 43"; inserted in it are a "sketch of the Southampton Island, Hudson Bay" (on 1 sheet) and "Flowers and mosses from Sysns Inlet.. July 9, 1902, Schooner Era (specimens sewn on folded sheet). Various newspaper articles and obituaries inserted in or pasted onto covers of journals.

General Note

"This book not being large enough was rewritten in a larger one (Crocker land Expedition Book) so this book is of no account"--leaf preceding the account of the voyage on the Cluett. (The journal of the Crocker Land Expedition (1915-1917) is cataloged separately and shelved in RBC.)
