Scope and Contents
Contains 4 black and white portraits and 1 mounted photograph. The portraits are stamped “From the Boas Collection 43” and were printed at Naegeli Studios in New York. There are handwritten notes under each subject indicating their tribe – Nootka or Haida. The mounted photograph of two totems is labeled “B.C. Towne, Portland, Oregon. Alsaks, Columbia River, and Northwest Scenery.”
