Biographical Note

Rachel Husband Nichols (1898-1985) served as a cataloger, staff assistant and was a scientific assistant in charge of the Osborn Library of Vertebrate Paleontology (replacing Miss Lucas) before she retired in 1959 after 35 years of service at the American Museum of Natural History.
