Exhibition. Opened August 15, 1980 and closed October 15, 1980. Located in the New York State Roosevelt Memorial at the American Museum of Natural History. "California Condor: A Species in Peril" examined the threats to the rare California condor and the efforts to save it.

Summary

"California Condor: A Species in Peril" examined the threats to the rare California condor and the efforts to save it. The exhibition included photographs of the condor in its habitat, a mounted California condor, an egg, and a radio transmitter used in population studies. It was sponsored by the Arthur Ross Foundation and was on view in the Roosevelt Rotunda on the 2nd floor of the American Museum of Natural History from August 15 through October 15, 1980.
