Exhibition. Opened June 15, 1977 and closed August 31, 1977. Located in the New York State Roosevelt Memorial at the American Museum of Natural History. "Cones and Cowrie Shells" featured over 100 specimens of cones and cowries, two of the most colorful types of shells. Highlights included two valuable and rare specimens found the Pacific.

"Cones and Cowrie Shells" featured over 100 specimens of cones and cowries, two of the most colorful types of shells. Highlights included two valuable and rare specimens found the Pacific. The exhibition supported by the Arthur Ross Foundation, was on view in the Roosevelt Rotunda of the American Museum of Natural History from June 15 through the end of August, 1977.
