"Animals in Sculpture by Three Americans" featured over 30 pieces by Rhys Caparn, Tom Hardy, and Jane Wasey. The works in the exhibition included cats, horses, hens, a sloth, marshbirds, a snake, fish, frogs, antelopes, and an armadillo in varying styles and materials. The exhibition was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from April 2 through June 8, 1958.
