1957 January 11 - 1957 March 3
Summary
"The Anatomy of Nature" featured approximately 55 black and white photographs taken by Andreas Feininger of natural history subjects based on studies of animate and inanimate nature as forms and designs shaped by function. Typical of this approach were his graphic photographs of ice on a window pane and a spider's' web. The exhibition was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural history from January 11 through March 3, 1957.
