Exhibition. Opened March 8, 1950 and closed April 2, 1950. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Animals in Action" featured 50 black and white scientific photographs by Dr. Roman Vishniac.

Summary

"Animals in Action" featured 50 black and white scientific photographs by Dr. Roman Vishniac. Vishniac's work covered the entire evolutionary scale from amoeba to ape and were photographed in their natural habitats. Dr. Vishniac's travelled throughout the US and Europe seeking insect life, protozoa, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, and birds. The exhibition was on view in the Corner Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from March 8 through April 2, 1950.
