Exhibition. Opened September 12,1949 and closed October 18, 1949. Located in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "An Artist Looks at Nature" featured drawings, lithographs and watercolors by Vera Andrus.

Summary

"An Artist Looks at Nature" featured drawings, lithographs and watercolors by Vera Andrus. The exhibition included some 40 pictures of shells, driftwood, flowers and plants. Vera Andrus was a staff member at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a teacher at City College, and a member of several art associations. Her work was on view in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History from September 12 through October 18, 1949.
