Summary
"An Artist Looks at Nature" featured drawings, lithographs and watercolors by Vera Andrus. The exhibition included some 40 pictures of shells, driftwood, flowers and plants. Vera Andrus was a staff member at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a teacher at City College, and a member of several art associations. Her work was on view in the Corner Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History from September 12 through October 18, 1949.
