Summary

"British Gas Wildlife Photographer of the Year" was an exhibition of forty award-winning images. The photographs, representing the best in wildlife photography at the time, were selected from entries submitted from professional and amateur photographers in forty-two countries. Winners from the New York area included David Hall, John Eastcott and Yva Momatiuk. The exhibition was organzed by the BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Natural History Museum in London. The photographs were on view at the American Museum of Natural History from May 20 through July 31, 1994.
