Exhibition. Opened in May 20, 1981 and closed August 23, 1981. Located in Section 12, Floor 2 in the Roosevelt Rotunda at the American Museum of Natural History. "Traditions of Saudi Arabia" was an exhibition of Saudi Arabian traditional artifacts featuring the life of the Bedouin.

Summary

"Traditions of Saudi Arabia" was an exhibition of Saudi Arabian traditional artifacts featuring the life of the Bedouin. The highlight of the exhibit was a full-sized Bedouin tent and related household objects on loan from The Department of Antiquities and Museums in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also on display were typical Bedouin clothing and jewelry as well as artifacts from the Hellenistic period. The exhibition was organized to complement the then new Hall of Asian Peoples and was on view in the Roosevelt Rotunda of the American Museum of Natural History from May 20 through August 23, 1981.
