Summary

"Birds in Shakespeare's Plays" was an exhibition showing the principal birds mentioned in Shakespeare's plays. Prepared by Charles H. Rogers, each specimen was accompanied by a quotation in which the bird was mentioned. It was held in the West Corridor as the American Museum of Natural History's contribution to the Shakespeare Tercentenary Celebration in 1916.
