Scope and Contents
Frick Laboratory correspondence, records, and maps. Correspondence and records consist of material from 1956 through 1973. Contained are two compiled binders labeled Lab. Correspondence: 1) “To and From Ted Galusha” (1961-1972); and 2) “To and From Morris Skinner” (1960-1973). Three folders: 1) labeled “Dr. John T. Lonsdale Correspondence” which contain letters (1958-1962) by Charles Falkenbach and W. W. Newcomb; 2) labeled “Frick Collection Loans” with main correspondence (1972-1973) by Ted Galusha; and 3) labeled “Amer. Mus. Nat. N. Y” with records for carnivore returned to DVP on 6/21/65 and cataloged material returned to Department of Vertebrate Paleontology on May 11, 1956, signed by Rachel H. Nichols. There is also loose miscellaneous correspondence by Ted Galusha. Maps are state road maps from 1930 through 1954, mostly dated 1948 and 1954 of states where Galusha and Skinner did their fossil collecting.
