Portrait of Theodore Roosevelt (U.S. President 1901-1909, naturalist, sportsman, conservationist, and military leader) sitting in chair wearing suit/riding clothes, cape over shoulders, crop and gloves in right hand, head facing forward, body 1/4 turned. Inscription: Frame plate "Theodore Roosevelt/1858-1919/Twenty-Sixth President of the United States/Painted at the White House, Oct. 1908/by P.A. DeLaszlo." Frame: Gold gilt, leaf motif, 63 x 49 inches.
