The collection contains a library of 35mm slides covering a wide range of topics, along with some supporting materials. The collection includes field work photographs from expeditions, collection and specimen imagery, AMNH photo studio images of buildings, events, and exhibit photographs, and more. Some slides duplicate negative and print collections.

Abstract

Studio photographs of Siberian drums and sticks from the AMNH Department of Anthropology. Artifacts collected by Berthold(?) Laufer, Waldemar Jochelson, and Waldemar Bogoras. Groups include Nanai, Koryak, Even, Chukchi, Yukaghir, and Yakut.

All slides have Anthropology catalog numbers and includes an inventory indicating the group and collector.
