Art Survey No. 337: Silver Hatchet Fish / LR "William E. Belanske", 1926
Scope and Contents
The Art Survey is an inventory of artwork throughout the Museum, conducted by Joel Sweimler in 1991-1992. It is not exhaustive: numerous additional artworks are documented in the library catalog after the survey's completion.
There is a physical copy of the survey that consists of seven volumes, printed from the original database. Volumes 1-4 contain records of art work in the American Museum of Natural History. There are two copies of an author index in three volumes. The database was migrated into the library catalog, and then copied to the archives catalog on this finding aid.
Additional research on artworks in the Museum is in progress.
