The AMNH Woodcraft Indian trip was led by Ernest Thompson Seton, the author, and George Clyde Fisher (AMNH curator of visual instruction). Catalina under the sea

Off the coast of California, the Catalina Islands offer excellent underwater scenes of plants and creatures. In a live underwater broadcast, the first ever produced, Charles Collingwood puts on his diving suit and dives with Ken Norris, oceanographer at Marineland in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. They discuss plants, such as a kelp forest, and much of the examination is centered on the type of underwater photographic equipment used in this unique broadcast.

Scope and Contents Filmed during AMNH Central African Expedition, 1948. The film material taken on the AMNH Central African Expedition, 1947-1948, is unedited, raw footage. The five-month-long expedition, led by James Lippitt Clark, AMNH director of preparation and installation, is well-documented in field notes and reports.
