Exhibition. Opened in May 1989 and closed June 1989. Located on Floor 4 in the Library Gallery at the American Museum of Natural History. "Mesoamerica: A Cultural Record" was an exhibition of rare books and photographs illustrating the rituals, customs and beliefs of Mesoamerican peoples including facsimiles of Mayan and Aztec codices and folded pictographic books.

"Mesoamerica: A Cultural Record" was an exhibition of rare books and photographs illustrating the rituals, customs and beliefs of Mesoamerican peoples including facsimiles of Mayan and Aztec codices and folded pictographic books. The exhibit was on view in the Library Gallery of the American Museum of Natural History from May through June, 1989.
