Bella Weitzner was a curator in the Department of Anthropology at the American Museum of Natural History. She was associated with the museum for 80 years. She was known for her work in North American ethnology. Weitzner came to the museum in 1908 as a secretary to Clark Wissler. In 1935 she was appointed assistant curator and in 1942 she became associate curator. She retired in 1956 and continued working as curator emerita
