Summary
"Flying Fantasies: Butterflies and Moths" consisted of a collection of color photographs by natural history photographer Kjell Sandved, which featured images of wing patterning and coloration of butterflies and moths. An Arthur Ross Exhibit of the Month organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, the photographs were on view in the Akeley Gallery on the second floor of the American Museum of Natural History from November 14, 1980 through January 25, 1981.
